The Mobility Project for teachers Erasmus+ KA 101 Action Key 1 - School Education, the reference number 2018-1-RO01-KA101- 048356, School - a Chance for a Better Future is co-financed by the European Commission through the National Agency for Community Programs in the Field of Education and Professional Training.  

Bogdan Voda Theoretical Highschool proposes to solve the imminent needs and to diminish other identified needs at the school level by implementing the project "School - a chance for a better future". European experience and the training of teachers participating in mobility will make our school a more attractive place for both pupils and school staff. Sixteen teachers will participate in the four selected training courses.

 The aim of participation is:

Personal and professional training of 16 teachers in order to adopt and use the European standards in the educational process, to ensure equal opportunities for all students, to improve learning outcomes, to reduce absenteeism, to determine as many students as possible to continue their high school studies in our institution for a successful career.

 The objectives to be achieved through the implementation of the project "School - a chance for a better future" while it is being carried out and in the next two school years are:

 Objective 1: Developing the techniques of self-knowledge and self-control and self-control of their own emotions to 4 teachers in the school who will attend the training course:"Life coaching for teachers: happy teachers for better students" between 15th October and 20th October 2018 in Barcelona, Spain - regarding the creation of a more attractive and motivating environment for students and teachers.

 Objective 2: Developing the classroom management abilities to 4 teachers from the school who will attend the training course: "Classroom Management Solutions for Teachers: new methodologies, effective motivation, cooperation and evaluation strategies" between 3rd December and 8th December 2018 in Florence, Italy - regarding the reducing of absenteeism by 5% and increasing the interest in school and education.

 Objective 3: Developing the skills of using interactive teaching methods and new technology to 4 teachers in the school who will attend the training course: "Interactive Teaching - Using Educational Games and New Technology in order to enhance learners' motivation" between 4th February and 8th February 2019 in Konstanz, Germany - regarding improving the students' learning outcomes (5% reduction in the 5-7.99 average and 5% increase in national exams), and using modern student-centered methods for teachers.

 Objective 4: Acquiring knowledge about European education systems and standards by 4 teachers who will attend the training course: "Structured Educational Visit to Schools/Institutes & Training Seminar in SWEDEN" between 24th March and 30th March 2019 in Stockholm, Sweden - considering the reporting of our school to these standards and the implementation of European management methods and strategies in the institution (adapted to the realities of the Romanian system and the specifics of the school) that will lead to the completion of the schooling plan and the maintaining of the lyceum level.

 As a result of the participation in the mobility activities included in the project "School - a chance for a better future", the Bogdan Voda Theoretical Highschool proposes to carry out the following activities in order to achieve the proposed objectives:

- participation of 16 teachers in the 4 selected international training courses, held between October 2018 and July 2019;

- carrying out activities to disseminate the experience, impressions and information gained through the participation in the training courses, by presenting and launching debates at the meetings of the teaching staff council, the board of directors (where the representatives of the parents and the local community also participate), within methodical meetings; through the institution's website, where presentations and images will be posted, as well as on the Facebook page; by editing articles and materials that will be published in the school magazine;

- the realization of three demonstrative lessons in which modern methods and the concept of interactive teaching will be used as well as the new technologies in order to motivate students;

- carrying out activities to promote and mediate the institution to convince parents and students of the importance of continuing their studies and enrolling in highschool.

During the implementation of the project and for the next two school years (2019-2020 and 2020-2021), the institution proposes:

- to reduce the number of absences per pupil, the number of pupils at educational risk by 5%, the percentage of students with an average of 5-7, 99;

- to increase the percentage of those who take and pass the national exams by 5%;

- to complete the schooling plan and maintaining the lyceum level with the two profiles: the human profile and the real profile;

- personal and professional training of 16 teachers and the usage of modern student-centered methods.

The target groups consist of 16 participants, teachers at Bogdan Voda Theoretical Highschool, who are motivated and need to participate in the training activity with the above mentioned title.
